In this short #diabeteschat episode we speak to Jon, Callum and Joe from the Diabetes Football community.
The lads shared a little about their diabetes connection; when they were diagnosed, what they use to manage their diabetes and their go to hypo treatments. We learnt about how the diabetes football community started in 2017; founded by Chris Bright and how the community has grown, now with a ladies team and a support group for parents and their children. We talked about the European Futsal Championships in Poland and the amazing achievement for the team in finishing 4th place and representing the UK.
